This is a dynamic quartet featuring Lancaster and York natives: Olivia Daugherty on vocals, Mike Truitt on piano, Pete Bainbridge on upright bass, and Chuck Oettel on guitar. Swing Street provides timeless music that guarantees an evening filled with swing, soul, and plenty of fun. Their favorite part of performing at The Log Cabin is the cozy atmosphere of the piano lounge and the “radio-show” feel of playing in different rooms. While listening, you will feel Pontz’ commitment to the art of jazz as well as his band’s tight rhythmic backing with upright bass and percussion. Bryan and Rachel, on guitar/vocals and piano respectively, are known for a wide range of over 500 songs from rock and gospel to soul and blues. The powerful vocals and guitar/piano combination result in an epic evening full of joy and iconic sing-alongs. Playing here is their “date night,” and it shows. Bryan feels right at home in the Log Cabin’s cozy, rustic atmosphere while Rachel lights up behind one of her favorite pianos to play on.
