Server

What You’ll Do
- Create Memorable Experiences: Anticipate guest needs, guide them through our menu and award winning wine list, and make every table feel cared for.
- Deliver Seamless Service: Take accurate orders, communicate with the kitchen and bar, and ensure each course arrives flawlessly.
- Collaborate as a Team: Support your fellow servers and the House Manager to keep service smooth and consistent.
- Stay Ready & Professional: Help set the stage each night by preparing the dining room, maintaining cleanliness, and following all food safety standards.
- Grow with Us: Participate in pre-shift meetings, tastings, and training sessions designed to sharpen your skills and expand your knowledge.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 2 years of fine dining or upscale restaurant experience (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of food, wine, and service etiquette.

Server Assistant
At The Log Cabin, we believe every detail matters in creating a fine-dining experience. Our Server Assistants play a vital role in keeping service smooth, polished, and welcoming. If you’re reliable, attentive, and enjoy being part of a professional team, this could be the perfect place for you.
What You’ll Do
- Support Seamless Service: Work side by side with servers and kitchen staff to ensure guests are cared for without interruption.
- Deliver with Precision: Expedite dishes from the kitchen to the table, presenting them with professionalism and accuracy.
- Keep Tables Ready: Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly, ensuring every guest arrives to a flawless setting.
- Anticipate Needs: Refill water, assist with place settings, and step in where needed to make service feel effortless.
- Maintain Excellence: Keep service areas, restrooms, and the dining room organized and spotless throughout the shift.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous restaurant experience is helpful but not required—we’re glad to train motivated team members.
- A positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to support the team.
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fine-dining environment.

Host
At The Log Cabin restaurant, Lancaster County’s landmark fine dining destination since 1929, we believe a great dining experience begins the moment a guest walks through our doors. Our Hosts set the tone — offering a warm welcome, managing the flow of service, and ensuring each visit feels special.
What You’ll Do
- Create a Memorable First Impression: Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, setting the stage for exceptional service.
- Manage Reservations & Flow: Use OpenTable to organize reservations, coordinate seating with the team, and keep service running smoothly.
- Keep the Lobby Polished: Ensure the entrance is inviting, well-organized, and reflective of our fine dining standards.
- Communicate with Guests: Handle calls, reservations, and questions with poise and accuracy.
- Support the Experience: Track guest preferences, note special occasions, and share guest feedback with the team.
What We’re Looking For
- Prior hospitality or restaurant experience preferred.
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, a polished presence, and natural hospitality.
