BOOKING POLICY

We have a 10 minute grace period. Please call us at 717.626.9999 if you are running later than 10 minutes after your reservation time.

We may contact you about reservations made on OpenTable, so please ensure your email and phone number are up to date.

Note that our historic building is not equipped with an elevator, so the Upstairs Dining Rooms and Speakeasy are only accessible by stair.  If you or another member of your group cannot climb stairs, it is extremely important to notify us in advance so we can prepare a 1st floor table for your party.

CANCELLATION POLICY

A credit card is required to secure reservations of 4 or more guests.  All credit card information will be processed securely by OpenTable. Changes to reservations may be made online through OpenTable up until 24 hours before the reservation. No-shows or cancellations less than 24 hours in advance will be subject to a charge of $15 per person. Small changes to party size can usually be accommodated, but please contact the restaurant at your earliest convenience to confirm.

Special Event Policies

PRIX FIXE EVENTS

Throughout the year, The Log Cabin hosts a variety of Prix Fixe meals for holidays including Valentines and New Years Eve.  To secure your reservation on OpenTable, a hold will be placed on your Credit Card. Changes to reservations may be made online or by phone up until 48hrs before the event at no cost.  Within 48hrs of the event, confirmed guests will be charged a $50/person deposit via OpenTable. For no-shows and cancellations within 48hrs of the event, the $50/person deposit will be forfeited.  For confirmed guests, the $50/person deposit will be credited toward your final bill, charged in-house.

PRE-PAID & TICKETED EVENTS

Certain holidays and parties, including Thanksgiving, are fully pre-paid events. To secure your reservation, you will be asked to pay the full price of your meal including 6% PA Sales Tax and 20% Gratuity.  Only add-on items (such as drinks) will be charged in-house. If plans change and you are unable to attend for any reason, please contact us 48hrs before the event to receive a Gift Card equal to the amount of your purchase. No-shows and cancellations within 48hrs of the event forfeit the full cost of the event.

A LA CARTE EVENTS

The Log Cabin offers an à la carte Holiday Menu for several special occasions, including Easter Sunday, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.  A credit card is required to secure all reservations. Changes to reservations may be made online or by phone up until 48hrs before the event at no cost.  No-shows and cancellations within 48hrs of the event will be charged a $50/person cancellation fee.

At The Log Cabin, we’re committed to creating the best possible experience for every guest. Part of that commitment includes thoughtful planning—whether it’s sourcing ingredients, setting tables, or scheduling our dedicated team.

When plans change, we deeply appreciate early notice from guests. It allows us to rebook tables and make adjustments that help everything run smoothly—not just for us, but for fellow guests as well. In some cases, a cancellation fee may apply; this helps us cover the cost of preparations already in motion and encourages timely communication.

That said, we completely understand that life happens and will extend the same flexibility and understanding we’d hope for ourselves. If you’re facing an unexpected situation—like bad weather, illness, or a family emergency—just let us know and we’ll make every effort to accommodate.
